About
"The products, methodologies, techniques, and research introduced by Immersive Design Labs will be founded upon the physics and human psychoacoustics of sound."
Adrian Weidmann, Founder & CEO, Immersive Design Labs.
Adrian spent 10 years with Brüel & Kjær (B&K) based in Nærum, Denmark and was responsible for the global introduction and success of the Series 4000 Professional Microphones. Brüel & Kjær is still regarded as the 'gold standard' in the test & measurement of sound & vibration.
While studying Mechanical Engineering at UW-Madison, Adrian was in 'Broken Bow', a country rock & bluegrass band and was in charge of location recording for Wisconsin Public Radio.
After his tenure at Brüel & Kjær he moved on to Siemens Audio (Neve & AMS). Adrian went on to pioneer the digital signage industry where he started StoreStream Metrics, a brand consultancy where he developed proprietary business intelligence software to measure the efficacy of video & audio content. He authored, and was awarded a patent, for a media based 'smart' electric vehicle (EV) charger before coming back home to professional audio.
