With tenures with Bruel & Kjaer and Audio Precision, Dan Foley has used his expertise in acoustics and electroacoustics measurements to develop his new studio- Do No Harm Studio, with variable acoustics. Dan is uniquely qualified to explain the importance of natural acoustics and the time domain in the ‘live’ recording of an immersive sound field using IDL’s 7.0.4 Immersive recording array along with the new IDL microphones.
